She is real and fearless in her routines, she uses props and tackling topics that range From the mundane to the controversial with wit, intelligence and style. Tont'e has a versatile style of comedy where she can perform in comedy clubs, churches, colleges and fashion shows. Praised by critics, respected by her peers, and adored by a diverse fan base, Tont'e Branch was born in Chicago, Illinois, the fifth child out of eight children. Tont'e has been making family and friends laugh as long as she can remember.

Tont'e asked her mother when she was 10 years old what career should she pursue as an adult?  Her mother replied a comedian.

Tont'e is more than a comedienne, she's a writer, producer, and entrepreneur. Tont'e is currently writing a book and started her own advertising magazine.  Tont'e is smart, funny, talented and sexy with a giving heart. In 2005 she wrote a song to help raise money for the hurricane Katrina victims.

Tont'e begin her comedy career in 1992 in Madrid Spain. After her marriage ended Tont'e was not in a mood to laugh or make people laugh. She moved to South Carolina to be near her family.

 Tont'e put her comedy career on hold for almost 16 years until she went to the Palmetto Comedy House in Charleston, SC in 2009,

Where she decided to get back on stage. After Tonte's stand-up comedy routine they audience and club owners found her hilarious with her unique shocking style of comedy. The club owner offered Tonte a hosting job.

 Tont'e started hosting and performing comedy in local clubs and nationwide. She also started her own Couples Comedy Game Show it was an instant success.

 Tont'e has featured for some of BET Comic View Comedians. Michael Blackson, Joe Tory, Nephew Tommy, Barbara Carlyle, Charles" Ice Cream" Washington, Shaun Jones, Shawn Cornelius, Mario Tory, Marvin Hunter, Big Mo Dixon and many more.
